VEDANTA RETREATS

A Vedanta Retreat is normally organized away from the hustle and bustle of city-life, for a period of upto 3 days. A specific text from the Vedanta philosophy forms the focus of the retreat, matched with a carefully planned schedule conducive to study, reflection and personal development.

Participants follow a set agenda which starts early morning, interspersed with several enriching activities and rest.  The activities include lectures, self-study, yoga, group discussions, bhajans,  and occasional sight-seeing. Food is vegetarian and high in nutritive value.

Some of the topics of study are chapters from the Bhagavad Gita, the Works of Adi Shankaracharya, etc
Retreats have been held in places such as Mt. Abu, Goa, Jaipur and Matheran.
